PURPOSE:To display directly and read a control value of the picture recording condition without requiring multiplexing due to a changeover switch and a conversion table, by display data, which is obtained by a digital processing, as a numeric value in a prescribed digit. CONSTITUTION:Before recording a picture, an original exposure lamp 11 or a blank exposure lamp 6 is flickered to form a bright part potential and a dark part potential on a photosensitive drum 1, and these latent image potentials are detected by a potential measuring sensor 130 and are converted to prescribed levels in a potential measuring circuit 140 and are converted to digital quantities through an A/D converting circuit 150. These data are controlled in a potential controlling microcomputer MPC 120 so that the bright part potential and the dark part potential approach target values, and they are inputted to D/A converters 160 and 170. Prescribed data on a data bus 121 outputted from the MPC 120 is latched in a decode driver 180 and is displayed as a numeric value in a prescribed digit on a multidigit display 200, and thus, various data such as the surface potential are grasped directly. |
