PURPOSE:To enable the release of supernatant liquid out of a test tube by centrifugal force, by retaining a test tube holder in a vertical position by the repulsive force between a magnetic element fitted to the upper part of the circumference of a retainer and a magnetic element provided at the test tube holder. CONSTITUTION:Red corpuscles are put in a test tube 6, the tube is fitted to a test tube holder 4, and a rotor 3 is rotated. Then the test tube holder 4 is retained at a position shown by an alternate long and two short dashes line by centrifugal force. Under the condition, a physiological salt solution is injected from a nozzle 8 and mixed with the red corpuscles, and thereby cleaning is performed. Thereafter the rotor 3 is stopped, and a retainer 9 is moved upward by exciting an electromagnet 11. Then, the test tube holder 4 is held in a vertical position by the repulsive force between magnetic elements 5 and 10. The rotor 3 is rotated in this state to release supernatant liquid out of the test tube 6. All of these operations can be made automatically, and thus the supernatant liquid can be released automatically with excellent reproducibility. |
