PURPOSE:To obtain a compact and solid frame of a moisture meter, by a method wherein the top, bottom and longitudinal side panels of the frame are integrally formed of a metalic material, and support pieces are provided inside the side panels, while a recess for a cell box is formed in the bottom plate. CONSTITUTION:A square tube-shaped body 1 mode of an aluminum alloy or the like is integrally formed from a top panel 2, a bottom panel 3 and a a pair of longitudinal side panels 4. The side panels 4 have support pieces 5 for a mounting plate 6 formed on their respective inner surfaces at positions facing each other. The top panel 2 is formed with holes 11 for mounting a display 7, a switch 8, changeover switch 9 and a pressing handle 10, respectively. The bottom panel 3 is formed with a recess 12 for defining a cell box. Lateral side panels 13 are secured to both respective end surfaces of the body 1 by means of setscrews or the like. The frame of a moisture meter having such a construction is compact and solid as well as simple to assemble. |
