PURPOSE:To sucessively form patterns which are rich in diversity in such a way that in the going path and the returning path which are parallel with the con- veying path of stone materials, shot is projected through a pattern forming plate which cuts out the desired pattern on one face of the stone material and its another face. CONSTITUTION:When a stone material 2 is conveyed with its front face turned upward and with its rear face turned downward to the lower part of a superposing device 7 through an endless belt conveying unit, a pattern forming plate 6 is fallen down on the surface of the stone material 2, and superposed thereon. And, holding the condition of the pattern forming plate 6 kept superposed, in the process that the stone material 2 is passed through a shot rotor unit 10a of a shot projector 10, the shot is projected toward the surface of the stone material 2 which has been superposed by the pattern forming plate from above. Thus, at the same time as tapping relieved pattern is formed on the surface of the stone material 2, the pattern as per the one cut out can be accurately formed. |
