PURPOSE:To make it possible to independently subject two steps of magazines to an indexing motion by providing tool magazines on upper and lower steps and by enabling to transmit the driving force of a driving motor to the tool magazines reversing the motor with a clutch. CONSTITUTION:Tool magazines 8, 9 are provided on the upper and lower two steps of supports 2, 2'. Tools 28, 29 are contained in tool holders 8, 9 mounted on chanes 10, 12, 13, and indexed and turned by sprockets 16, 17. The driving and turning force of a motor 23 is transmitted to a upper step driving sprocket 16 by clutches 19, 20 as switchable to forward or reverse rotation. Tool magazine indexing rotation of upper and lower two steps can be freely controlled for forward and reverse rotation, and stoppage by controlling the forward and reverse rotation of a motor 23 and the on-off of the clutches 19,20,21. |
