PURPOSE:To abolish outside circumferential gears or the like of a distance ring and a zoom ring, to improve the external appearance, to attach the detach lenses to and from a camera and to facilitate mounting interchangeable lenses, by incorporating a linear step motor used as a barrel also. CONSTITUTION:A front barrel 101, a center barrel 102, and a rear barrel 103 are joined by joining members 104 and 105 to constitute a one-body box body, and the barrel 102 and a barrel 106 where magnification varying lens systems L4-L6 as well as the barrel 102 and a barrel 107 where a correcting lens system L7 is stored constitute two sets of linear step motors, which are used as barrels also, respectively. A part of the barrel 102 is a stator 108 of the upper linear step motor, and a needle 136 is attached to the barrel 106 while facing to the stator 108, and a part of the barrel 102 is a stator 121 of the lower linear step motor, and a needle 137 is attached to the barrel 107 while facing to the stator 121. |
