PURPOSE:To obtain the liquid drops of approximately the same grain size and speed from each nozzle by severally equalizing the speed of ink injected and grain size at every each ink flow path in the impedance of the nozzles and an ink supply path. CONSTITUTION:It is difficult to equalize the length of the ink flow paths on arrangement in the ink jet head with multi-nozzles, the form of ink flow-path sections is changed according to formulaeI, II (R1, R2 are constants) in order to obtain the ink liquid-drops of approximately the same shape and speed from each nozzle, and the impedance Z3 of the nozzles and the impedance Z2 of the ink flow paths of formulae III, IV[r2, r3 are the acoustic resistance (NS/m<5>) of the ink supply path nozzles; m2, m3 are the inertance (kg/m<4>) of the ink supply path nozzles; omega is natural frequency]are adjusted and set. When some predetermined input is applied to a pressure generating mechanism through setting in this manner, the ink liquid-drops of approximately the same form and speed are obtained from each nozzle in response to the input. |
