The invention relates to a two-part metal profile with flexible seal and insulation, having two mutually separate hollow profiles of metal which can be connected to each other in a sealing manner by means of an elastomer. In addition, the invention relates to an apparatus for producing such a metal profile. The invention is based on the object of proposing a two-part metal profile with flexible seal and insulation which is flame-retardant and also allows workshop finishing operations to be carried out on the frame to be insulated using simple tools, such as sawing, electric arc welding, grinding, drilling etc. The invention is characterised in that both hollow profiles have a filling through-opening for filling with an epoxy integral foam, with which they are filled, and in that sealing profiles of the elastomer brought to bear against each other are fitted into openings in the hollow profiles.
