PURPOSE:To facilitate a starting a operation of engine when it is kept cool by a method wherein a relatively by much volume of fuel is accumulated as an auxiliary fuel without unnecessarily flowing out to the suctin passage because of a vibration of engine, etc. CONSTITUTION:Auxiliary fuel supplying mechanism 76 is made to be a unit form as a housing 20 which is arranged between a carburetor 10 and an air cleaner 22. The housing 20 defines an auxiliary fuel accumulation chamber 80 which is separated from the hole 18 set apart from the inner circumferential wall 78a defining the hole 18 therein. Pump 90 for the auxiliary fuel supplying mechanism 76 is manually operated prior to the starting of the engine, the suctioned fuel is fed to the auxiliary fuel accumulation chamber 80 through an intake means 102, pump chamber 92 and a discharge passage 106, and a desired volume of auxiliary fuel is held in the accumulation chamber 80. When a started, the auxiliary fuel is atomized further by the orifice 86 in the tubular member 84 and suctioned into the suction passage 18 from the end part 84b of the tubular member 84.
