Residual products from waste incineration systems are unsuitable for landfill sites, so that official regulations frequently require them to be stored on a special landfill site, which is very complicated. To avoid the difficulties associated with this, it is proposed according to the invention to provide the waste incineration with a dry chemisorption system for binding the pollutants from the flue gas, in which slaked lime is preferably used for the chemisorption and the reacted and partly unreacted slaked lime is mixed with the residual products comprising filter ash, boiler slag, with the addition of cement, or is mixed during transport in a mixer vehicle which is equipped with a mixer tank and serves for transport from the waste incinerator to the landfill site, and, at the landfill site, the solidification reaction is initiated according to the invention by the addition of water and calcium chloride and the material is transferred to the landfill site in pelletised or unpelletised form and in a form stable against leaching by water.
