PURPOSE:To facilitate data processing and curtail scanning time by revolving the radiation source and radiation detector at the same speed but in the opposite directions, thus collecting data by parallel beams. CONSTITUTION:Radiation source 1 revolves in such a way that its focus moves on the circumference of the specified radius whose center being the center axis of the item to be photographed 4, emits a fan-form radiation beams at the specified angle toward the photographed item 4 within the plane and, then, detects with many radiation detectors 3 arranged in the form of ring on the circumference of the radius equivalent to the radius of radiation focus. That is; data is collected by parallel beams by revolving radiation source 1 and detector 3 at the same speed in the opposite directions in such a way that the center axis of the ring of detector 3 is always kept away from the center axis of the item to be photographed and the detector 3 facing against radiation source 1 is always kept on a plane kept at right angles with item to be photographed 4 including the radiation focus. With these arrangements, data processing is facilitated and scanning time is curtailed. |
