PURPOSE:To form a life buoy to be easily mounted to a person who wears the life buoy, by forming a plate-shaped float by a synthetic resin made foaming material and providing a neck insertion window, which provides one part of the peripheral edge so that it can be engaged and disengaged, in the plate-shaped float. CONSTITUTION:A plate-shaped float 1, having a required thickness, is formed by a synthetic resin made foaming material, and this float 1 provides an inserting window 3 of a neck which has an engageable and disengageable separating part 2 in one part of the peripheral edge. Further the plate-shaped float 1, forming its front view into a trapezoidal shape, enables large buoyancy to act by a wide width part 1a of the flat. A lift buoy can be easily worn by disengaging the separating part 2 to insert the neck, and the buoy, providing sufficient buoyancy, enables a person, who wears the buoy, to ensure his eyes and mouth above the surface of water. |
