<p>Device for the acquisition, processing and control of all payment instruments (3, 5, 6) comprising: - a processing area (2) carrying out the following operations: endorsing, reading of the RIB (banking identity statement), post-marking and issuing of cheque forms (3), - a processing area (4) of magnetic cards (5) and memory cards (6) providing for the setting in place thereof, blocking and reading of the RIB, - a control system for the receivability of the payment instruments from their RIB, checking the non opposition by remotely interrogating a central file (12) by means of a MODEM (13) connected to a communication network (14), by consulting a mass storage (10), and checking the identity of the issuer by comparison between an identification number provided by the central file (12) and a code communicated at (17) by the issuer, - a system for updating the accounts, writting the transactions on the mass storage (10), regularly addressed at the central file (12) for straightening out the accounts.</p> |
