<p>The chain conveyor for coarse material, such as food pellets (26), is located inside a round conveyor tube (1). At discharge points, a gate sleeve (10) uncovers a hole (9) in the conveyor tube. The conveyor elements (3) are circular discs with a ring sleeve. The hub of the disc has an oblong hole which provides an interference fit for the chain links (2). At bends, the conveyor chain and its discs are supported by a wheel located at the centre of the bend curvature.</p> |
