PICTURE PROCESSING SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To synthesize a picture displayed on the surface of a display with a picture provided separately and recorded on a recording medium to a picture memory as a picture signal. CONSTITUTION:A picture memory M stores a picture to be displayed on a display device. Horizontal and vertical deflection sections H and V generate an electric signal to deflect electron beam horizontally and verically. Horizontal and vertical A/D converters S1 and S2 quantize electric signal from the horizontal and vertical deflection sections. An intensity modulation section N converts picture information stored in the picture memory M into the intensity on the display screen. A picture detection section F converts the electric signal read with the said principles into a digital signal. A switching section of picture input display A switches the reading and display of the picture.
