<p>The apparatus comprises a measuring cup which is part of a measuring unit which may be kept at a moderate temperature, an agitation device, an optical measuring device for measuring the turbidity. It has the following combined characteristics: the agitation device (16) is of the magnetic type known per se; it is arranged in the measuring unit (11), under the reception channel (8) of the measuring cup (17). An agitator, comprised by a metal bore (23), is arranged in the measuring cup (17). It is set in motion by magnetic effect by means of the agitation device (16). The measuring cup (17) is maintained in the measuring channel (8) by means of a blocking device (18). The cup is arranged in the light beam pass (32) of an optical detection device (13) of which the light source (15) is supplied by an operating voltage which is at least equal to half of the rated voltage. The light receiver (14) is connected to an indicator for indicating the measured value (27). The measuring block at a moderate temperature may also be comprised of a removable block (39) provided with a plurality of channels (8, 8a) for a plurality of measuring cups (17). To each measuring cup (17) arranged in its channel (8a) there is associated a detector particular of the optical detection device (13). The latter is connected to a microprocessor (43) or similar, which may be actuated by means of a control member (44) and which is connected to a data output device. Said data output device may be a printer (31) and/or a display screen (46).</p> |
