A hose coupling for multi-walled hoses used in drip irrigation comprising a spigot (1) having an external lip (4) at one end portion, a ferrule (2) having an internal lip (5), the spigot and ferrule each having a recessed portion behind the lip to accommodate the end of the hose, the lips being cooperable to clamp the hose therebetween, the ferrule being mounted on the spigot by a screw (3) or cam (22) arrangement at the end remote from the lips in a manner that engagement of the lips on the hose takes place without undue rotational movement. |
