PURPOSE:To count a prescribed number of granular bodies, such as pills, automatically and accurately by a small-sized simple device. CONSTITUTION:Many pills are put in the room A of a hopper 5, and a counting rotor 1 is rotated as shown by an arrow. When the counting rotor 1 totates and counting hole 3 reaches below the room A, the pills swell and some of them (e.g. six pills) enter the counting hole 3. As the counting rotor 1 rotates further, some of the pills swelling on the circumferential surface of the counting rotor 1 are stopped by a partitioning plate 8 and when the counting hole 3 passes under the partitioning plate 8, there are a few pills which have etered the counting hole 3 and passed under the partitioning plate 8. When the counting rotor 1 further rotates and the counting hole 3 reaches the front edge 7a of the side plate 7 of the hopper 5, the entrance of pills on the counting rotor 1 is stopped through the doctor operation of the front edge 7a and only the pills left in the counting hole 3 are carried along a shoot cover 9 to be taken out. |
