The invention is an automatic parking disc, combined with a timer, for all passenger cars. It is characterised in that 1. the parking start time is set automatically when the passenger car is parked, 2. the parking start time can be set, as desired, by means of an additional switch, 3. it serves at the same time as a timer, 4. there is the possibility of a change-over from summer time to normal time. The difficulties of conventional parking discs are the complicated handling and inaccurate operation. The automatic parking disc does away with the hand-operated parking disc, since this is set automatically. Automation takes place by the use of the following parts: a clock, an electric motor with a gear, a parking-time dial, a switching device and a plurality of small parts. Functioning: with the ignition switched on, the circuit of the electric motor (2) is closed and the parking-time dial (11) runs in synchronism with the hour indicator (6). When the ignition key is withdrawn (upon parking), the circuit is broken and the parking-time dial stops (parking start time). The automatic parking disc can be used for equipping new passenger cars and for the retrofitting of used passenger cars.
