Common-wave radio network

In a known common-wave radio network with a master station, secondary stations and a plurality of relay stations, the transmission from the relay stations to the master station is also carried out in common-wave mode. The receiver is selected in the master station using the RF suppression effect. For this purpose, the transmission power is adjusted in the relay stations from the secondary stations according to the receive level. To enable the master station to identify which station is receiving it, the relay stations transmit audio signals for signalling purposes using the timing pattern method. Due to the RF suppression effect, the master station normally receives one relay station only which it can identify by the position of the audio signals in the timing pattern.
