The invention relates to a shaft coupling for torque transmission comprising an inner part and an outer sleeve which surrounds the latter, the two parts having a plurality of circumferentially distributed axially extending grooves for balls in their mutually facing circumferential surfaces. To eliminate play, the proposal is to arrange in the bore of the outer sleeve a number of plates corresponding to the number of ball rows distributed over the circumference, each of these plates extending over a circumferential range such that it is supported on two adjacent ball rows. In addition, spring elements, which press the plates with a prestress against the balls, are provided between the plates and the bore of the outer sleeve. <IMAGE> |
