PURPOSE:To execute cleaning of a photosensitive drum having no remaining toner, by waiting for press-contact of a cleaning blade prior to the rotation of a photosensitive drum. CONSTITUTION:On a fitting bracket 4 which can be rocked by a supporting shaft 3, a cleaning blade 6 which is made to press-contact to a circumferential surface (a) of a photosensitive drum 1 by weight of a plumbbob 5 is provided. to the end of the supporting shaft 3, an operating lever 8 coupled with an operating device such as an electromagnetic solenoid 7, etc. is fixed, and by energizing of the electromagnetic solenoid 7, the cleaning blade 6 can be detached from the circumferential surface (a) of the photosensitive drum 1. A tip edge 6a of the cleaning blade 6 contacts with the circumferential surface (a) being in a slightly upper part, slide-contacts with it, moves in the opposite direction against the rotating direction of the drum 1, reaches a remaining part X, and a remaining toner on the surface of the photosensitive body 1 can be removed exactly prior to cleaning. |
