PURPOSE:To produce a back color data having the good correspondence to a using back screen, by discriminating whether a back screen or a subject by the presence or absence of the correlation to a foreground color video data. CONSTITUTION:A back color data is produced from a foreground color video data FG.VID and through a back color data producing circuit 13 and supplied to a key signal producing circuit 14 and a color canceller 16. The mean value of the back color data is used as a reference data at the circuit 14 and then compared with the sample data of the data FG.VID. Then an output corresponding to the difference between the reference data and the sample data receives the waveform shaping through a key processor 15. Thus a key signal KEY is obtained. At the same time, the canceller 16 excludes the back color out of the data FG.VID on the basis of the signal KEY. Then the output of the canceller 16 is mixed with the background color video BG.VID through a mixer 18 and on the basis of the signal KEY. |
