PURPOSE:To superpose the additional information on an original picture without missing the information on the original picture, by inverting the white and black of the picture information based on the white and black of the additional information to be superposed on the picture information which is transmitted and received. CONSTITUTION:A facsimile signal transmitter 1 includes a picture reading mechanism 2 and an additional information memory 3 which stores the additional information to be superposed on the picture information. The mechanism 2 and the memory 3 transmit the information to the signal lines (a) and (b) under the control of a transmission control part 4. An exclusive OR circuit 5 inverts ''1'' and ''0'' of the signal at a terminal (a) and delivers them to an output terminal (c) only when the input of a terminal (b) is ''1''. The output of the terminal (c) is modulated by a MODEM6 and fed to a communication circuit 7. Thus the additional information added at a white place is recorded as it is. In case the additional information is added at a place where white and black are mixed, the information is recorded with inversion carried out between the white and black. |
