The present invention relates to spread spectrum transmission systems using phase-turnover modulation according to a pseudorandom binary code. The subject is a system of the above kind with a pseudorandom binary code for spreading the frequency spectrum whose generating polynomial has an odd number of terms having, at the receiving end, in order to remove the spreading from the signal received, a non-recursive time-domain, non-linear filter consisting of an intermediately-tapped delay line (20) simulating as regards the signal received the shift register defined by the generating polynomial, and of a multiplying chain (21, 22) interconnecting the input, the intermediate taps and the output of the delay line (20) in accordance with the generating polynomial. <IMAGE>
