PURPOSE:To reduce flux leakage, and to increase revolving torque by projecting an arcuate pole shoe to both sides from the width of a magnetic pole supporting the shoe and making thickness in the air gap direction of a projecting section differ. CONSTITUTION:The arcuate pole shoes 205-1-205-4 oppositely arranged to permanent magnets 203 through air gaps are formed in shape that is projected to both sides from the width of the magnetic poles 206-1-206-4 supporting the shoes, and thickness in the air gap direction of one projecting sections a is made differ from the other projecting sections b. Consequently, the reluctance of the projecting sections b is reduced in the projecting sections a, b of the pole shoes 205, each magnetic pole of the permanent magnets 203 is moved so that most of them are opposed to the projecting sections b of the opposite pole shoes, and a rotor is stopped at a position where reluctance between the rotor and a stator is minimized. Accordingly, revolving torque can be increased because useless flux leakage can be reduced. |
