<p>PURPOSE:To provide a titled element having long-term stability in moisture and water resistances and moisture sensitive characteristics by using a mixture of polystyrene sulfonic acid or polystyrene sulfonate and a hydrophilic high polymer as a moisture sensitve film. CONSTITUTION:A comb tooth-like metallic condutive film 2 of gold or the like is formed on a high insulating substrate 1 of alumina, glass or the like by a vapor deposition method or sputtering method. A mixture of polystyrene sulfonic acid or polystyrene sulfonate and a hydrophilic high polymer such as PVA, methyl cellulose or polyamide resin is coated on the film 2, whereby a moisture sensitive film 3 consisting of a high polymer electrolyte is formed. This moisture sensitive film is 1mum thick. A moisture permeable protecting film of a high polymer is coated on the film 3, whereby the moisture sensor is constituted. It is possible to control the moisture sensitive characteristics by changing the mixing ratios of polystyrene sulfonic acid and PVA.</p> |
