摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of length measurement by detecting magnetization marks by smapling synchronized with the rotating pulses of a length measuring wheel, and detecting the central point of the magnetization marks from the recurrent straight line determined from these. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic marks are put on a magnetizable electrical wire 1 such as a steel reinforced aluminum cable by a magnetizing coil 4. When the electric wire travels, pulses are transmitted at every 1mm. from an encoder 3 by the rotation of a length measuring wheel 2. In the stage of detecting said magnetization marks with a detecting coil 5, they are sampled by these pulses. The sample values are subjected to A-D conversion, and from the digital values, the recurrent straight light A is determined in an arithmetic device. The central point of the magnetization marks is calculated from the recurrent straight line and the next magnetization is applied. The length is measured by repeating these operations.
