PURPOSE:To provide an oil feeder which can control the supply of bearing cooling oil to a rotor according to a change in conditions of the rotor so as to prevent an abnormal rise in a bearing metal temperature. CONSTITUTION:In a steam turbine, steam entered into each nozzle inlet steam chest 3 from first to fourth adjustable valves 4-7 is conducted to a rotor from each nozzle (not shown) to be converted to rotary power. Each adjustable valve 4-7 is opened and closed according to turbine output. When the first and second adjustable valves 4, 5 are opened, a bearing metal temperature is highest. To supply a desired quantity of cooling oil interlocking with the opening motion of the adjustable valves 4-7, a variable orifice 16 or a motor-driven valve 18 is disposed on a cooling oil supply line, and is automatically controlled according to indication of opening the adjustable valve. |
