PURPOSE:To omit the conventional cleaning process, to prevent the smudge, and to improve the cleaning effect, by installing the detergent injectors on the inlet and outlet sides of the final stand of the cold rolling mill, in order to treat the front and back surfaces according to the specified method. CONSTITUTION:On the inlet and outlet sides of the final stand of the cold rolling mill, the detergent solution injection nozzles 1 are installed in order to inject the detergent solution (cleaning solution) from the tank 2 against the both surfaces of the steel sheet S. The injected solution sticking on the surface of the steel sheet S is wiped away by the squeeze roll 3, and then, the sheet S is dried up by blasting the hot air or warm air from the nozzle 4. The squeezed cleaning solution is recovered into the tank 2 through the tray 5. Otherwise, the cleaning solution can be injected on the inlet side of the skin pass mill, and next, after the squeezing, above stated drying can be carried out on the outlet side of the skin pass mill. Hereby, the conventional costly cleaning process becomes unnecessary, and the cleaning rate against the cold rolled quantity can be reduced from 50% to about 5%. |
