PURPOSE:To obtain a highly durable and reliable intermittent feed mechanism, by releasing, upon normal intermittent feeding, a positioning means from a driven member synchronously with the feeding motion of the driven member caused by a drive member so that load due to the positioning means is alleviated. CONSTITUTION:There is provided a driving means 10 in which a feed pawl 11 and a drive member 12 are rotatably journalled to a shaft 13, the drive member 12 receiving power from a pin 15 engaged with a cam 21 for actuating around a supporting point as the rotational center thereof. Further, there is provided a positioning means 16 in which one end 17a of a positioning member 17 is engaged with a driven member 9, and a pin 18 at the other end 17c receives power from the cam 21 and is guided by a guide member 23 so that the lever 17 is rotated about a fulcrum 17d. In this case, the fulcrum 17d is depressed to a retainer part 19 by means of a spring 20 loaded to the above-mentioned lever 17. Further more, the cam 21 is rotated in such a way that the positioning means 16 is released from the driven member 9 in synchronism with the operation of the latter caused by the drive means 10. With this arrangement, the load of the positioning means 16 is alleviated upon normal intermittent feeding. |
