PURPOSE:To prevent the temperature of hot water in the hot water storing device from dropping by providing an auxiliary heat source in a border layer between a hot water part and a heat accumulating part and a three-way solenoid valve respectively between the heat accumulating part and a circulation pump to the heat collector and between a return pipe of the heat collector and the upper part of the heat accumulating part. CONSTITUTION:In a hot water tank A, the upper part of which constitutes an auxiliary heat source hot water part 1 and the lower part of which constitutes a solar heat accumulating part, an electric heater 5 utilizing midnight electric power is provided in the border layer 6 between the parts 1 and 2. The solar energy collector 7 heats the water in the heat accumulating part 2 which is circulated by the pump 8 through a feed pipe 9 and the return pipe 10. The first three-way solenoid valve 11 is provided with its first port 11a connected to the pump suction side and with its second and third ports 11b and 11c connected to the first and second feed ports 12b and 12c of the heat accumulating part 2 respectively. The second three-way solenoid valve 13 is provided in the return pipe 10 with its first port 13a connected to the heat collector 7 side and the second and third ports 13b and 13c connected to the first and second return ports 14b and 14c. With such a construction, when a sunshine sensor 16 operates, the upper feed port 12c and the return port 14c are brought into a communication by a controller 18, so that the water in the upper half part of the heat accumulating part 2 which is in contact with the hot water part 1 is heated within a short time, thereby decreasing the temperature difference in the border layer 6, preventing the drop of the temperature in the high temperature part and increasing the quantity of the water of high temperature. |
