PURPOSE:To prevent rising up of a heat insulative material by a method wherein the heat insulative material is mounted on the inner surface of the bottom wall of the solar energy collector, and outer case reinforcement rod is interposed in the outer case in its transverse direction between a heat exchanger and the heat insulative material, and further the both ends of the rod are secured fixedly to the side wall of the outer case. CONSTITUTION:The outer case 1 comprises four side walls 2a-2d and the bottom wall 3. An elastic side heat insulative material 6 is fitted to the inner surfaces e of the side walls 2a-2d, the top 6a of which is inserted compressively between the side walls and a fitting 5. An elastic bottom heat insulative material 7 is mounted on the inner surface 3a of the bottom wall 3. The metal reinforcement rod 8 is interposed between the right and left side walls 2a and 2b in the middle in the longitudinal direction of the outer case 1. The both ends 8c of the rod 8 are fixed to the back surface 5a of the fitting 5 by a blind rivet 9. This construction is effective for preventing the rising of the heat exchanger due to the rising of the bottom heat insulative material and further improving the heat collecting efficiency. |
