PURPOSE:To make a paper feed base device simple and inexpensive, by fetching the information showing an installation state of plural cassettes, by a mechanical OR means, in a variable scale copying machine. CONSTITUTION:In a state that a recording paper cassette 68 has been installed, one end of an OR member 77 stretches out on the side part of the cassette. The other end of the OR member concerned faces a selecting a detecting member 75, and in the center part, a wire 78 linked with a mechanism for deciding a copying operation range is bound through a collor 81. In case of a cassette having no cam part 70, irrespective of a state of a paper feed base designating lever 71 (a) and (b), and in case when the paper feed base designating lever is not designated even when a cassette having the cam part has been installed (c), the wire is not drawn, and only when the cassette has the cam part, and the paper feed base is designated, the wire is drawn, and the copying operation is switched. |
