WATER PUMP CONTROL SYSTEM FOR ENGINE

摘要

PURPOSE:To prevent the overheat of an engine by maintaining the water pump at the constant rotation when any abnormality has occurred in the control system. CONSTITUTION:The control circuit 13 is comprised of a temperature detection circuit 15, output current control circuit 16 and an amplifier 17. When the control circuit 13 is abnormal, the driving of the water pump is stopped to increase the cooling water temperature. The temperature rise of the engine is detected by the operating state sensor 14 and the output is provided from an auxiliary circuit 18. By said output the field current to the motor 12 is maintained at the maximum current thereby the rotation of the motor 12 or the rotation of the water pump is maintained at the maximum rotation.
