PURPOSE:To change over the emission direction of exhaust gas to the back of a vehicle or the front thereof by actuating a change-over valve driving coil via an interlocking contact point of a speed change gear and a change-over switch at the driver's site. CONSTITUTION:When a speed-change gear interlocking contact point is thrown into a reverse position 2c, an exhaust gas direction change-over switch 1, situated at any position except a rear lock position 1c, makes a change-over valve driving coil 4a energized to change over an exhaust direction change-over valve 4 to the sencond exhaust pipe 6, thereby releasing exhaust gas forward. When a driver turns the exhaust gas direction change-over switch 1 into a forward position 1A, the coil 4a, with a contact point 3a of a speed relay closed on account of a car speed below a certain value, is energized to change over the change- over valve 4 to an exhaust pipe 6. When the car speed is increased over the certain value, with the speed change gear interlocking contact point 2 in a forward position, the change over valve driving coil 4a is deenergized to change over the change-over valve 5 to the exhaust pipe 5. |
