PURPOSE:To operate a car at a safe speed even at a running of a curve during a constant speed, by running the car in a constant speed lower than a set car speed when a steering angle exceeds a prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:An analog switch is turned on when a set switch 18 is operated, and an output signal of a car speed signal generating section section 2 is supplied to storage circuits 28 and 30. A value existing just before a switch 12 is turned off is stored in the circuit 28 as the set value of the car speed of a constant speed running, and the car speed lower than the output voltage of the generating section 2 by a specified value is stored in the circuit 28 in the circuit 30. A switching section 32 selects the circuit 30 when a steering sensor 34 detects a steering angle of a specified value or more, and selects the circuit 28 when not the steering angle. An output of the generating section 2 and that of a comparison section 14 are compared with a car comparison section 14 and a signal corresponding to the compared value is outputted. This output signal decreases the power application time of a control valve of a slottle valve controlling section 22 when the output voltage of the generating section 2 is higher and increases the power application time when lower. |
