PURPOSE:To prevent a bearing area from being seizured, by forming an orifice for guiding lubricating oil to an working space in a oil sump which is provided widthwise on a journal bearings inner face which communicates with an oil feed port thereof so as to sufficiently lubricate throughout a bearing. CONSTITUTION:A journal bearing 50 is supplied with lubricating oil, which is compressed by an oil pump not illustrated, from a supply opening 53 via a passage 52. The lubricating oil is then fed from an oil supply port 51 into an oil sump 54 which is provided widthwise on the inner periphery of the journal bearing 50, and is injected into the other oil sump by the turning of a rotor shaft 36 while being supplied into a reacting space of the rotor shaft 36 via an orifice 62 as well sufficient as into an acting space thereof via an orifice 57. The journal bearing 50 is lubricated throughout, cooled and sealed, thereby seizure may be prevented and the lubricating oil can be collected at a demanded position in a working space of a rotor casing 40 via the orifices 57, 62. |
