PURPOSE:To obtain an electrode plate excellent in tightness with its active material, by molding a raw material mixture of a polyolefinic resin, filler and plasticizer together with a current collector into a united body and extracting out the plasticizer to form a number of pores therein. CONSTITUTION:A raw material mixture obtained by mixing a polyolefinic resin, for example, ppolyethylene, a filler, for example, silica powder, and a plasticizer, for example, dioctylphthalate in a mixer is heated to 200+ or -10 deg.C and milled together at the same temperature. It is then injection molded with a current collector consisting of lead-antimony or lead-calcium alloy to unify the mixture with the current collector. Then, the plasticizer is removed, for example, by ultrasonically extracting the injection-molded body in a solution of trichloroethylene, thus providing an electrode plate. |
