PURPOSE:To remarkably increase a monitor function visually, by switching the monitor display of a timer in two stages as 0.1sec each and in the unit of second and displaying data on a display means. CONSTITUTION:When a specified key as a timer monitor switching means and a numeric key for timer number designation are depressed, an elapsed data is stored in a system RAM16 with the designation number of a timer, transmitted to a keyboard control IC15 via a CPU9 and displayed on a display 7. In this case, even if the data setting of the timer is set with an integer without fraction at a program mode, when the elapsed data is smaller than a predetermined constant TM in a system ROM10, display is performed so that the timer elapsed value is progressed at each 0.1. On the other hand, if the data is coincident with the constant TM or exceeds the constant, the elapsed value is displayed in the unit of 1sec. Thus, the elapsed value is displayed in a short cycle for the section with small elapsed value and the monitor display is switched in a longer cycle for the section with a large elapsed value. |
