COOLING SYSTEM FOR ENGINE

PURPOSE:To promote the warming machine in an engine cooling/warming machine by limiting the cooling water flow between the low temperature and high temperature sections of an engine at the stoppage of a water pump and to assure the good engine cooling performance at the completion of the engine warming machine. CONSTITUTION:The temperature sensor 12 will detect the engine temperature and the rotation of the motor 10 or the rotation of the water pump is controlled on the basis of the engine temperature. At the engine cooling machine where the engine temperature is below the setting, the rotation of the motor 10 is stopped by the control circuit 11 to stop the operation of the water pump. Consequently the cooling water of the engine is never circulated to the radiator to promote the engine warming machine. When the engine temperature exceeds over the predetermined level to complete the engine warming machine, the water pump is controlled of the driving by the control circuit 11 through the motor 10 in accordance to the engine temperature.
