PURPOSE:A plurality of polyester with different ap values are subjected to conjugate spinning under specific conditions, treated with a modifier in a certain range of ap value, then simultaneous drawing and false twisting are effected to produce the titled fiber that has wool-like surface and high tenacity, giving comfortable and high-class touch. CONSTITUTION:A polyester with an ap value over 10 where ap is defined by equationI[Tpo, Tp are neck strength in g/d of the polyester fibers wound up after application of water and ethylene oxide-10mol-added isocetyl ether after stood in an atmosphere of 25 deg.C and 65% RH for a week]and another polyester with an ap value below 10 are subjected to conjugate spinning so that the former occupies more than 50% of the fiber surface, then treated with a modifier with an as value ranging from 10 to 40 in equation II and simultaneous drawing and false twisting are effected to produce fiber with wrinkes 3 and cracks 4 on the surface. |
