PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. capable of forming high quality images consistently for a long period without causing clogging of nozzle or filter, prepared by using a specified alkylaminophenol deriv. dye as a recording agent. CONSTITUTION:The ink compsn. is prepared by mixing an alkylaminophenol deriv. dye of the formula (where R1-4 are H, methyl or ethyl), a solvent (e.g., alkyl alcohol or cellosolve) and a thickener (e.g., phenolic resin or polyamide resin). The resultant compsn. shown good adhesion to a recording sheet with a hydrophobic and highly smooth surface and produces prints with excellent color definition ( in magenta color), for it contains an oil dye as a recording agent. |
