PURPOSE:To prevent a rapid change of working fluid fed to an actuator, by constituting a bypass valve of a power steering device with a spool, continuously reducing area of a valve passage through a chamfer and forming the chamfer to said spool. CONSTITUTION:A bypass valve 40 is provided in the bypass passage short circuiting a feed line 5 and drain line 7 of a power steering device. The valve 40 is constituted by an inlet port 41, outlet port 42, housing 51, formed with the first and second control ports 43 and 44, and a spool 49, housed in a passage hole formed in the housing 51. A passage 50, consisting of an almost annular grooved part, is formed to the spool 49, and a chamfer 30, consisting of a sloped surface continuously reducing area of the passage in the both sliding directions of the spool 49, is formed in said passage 50. |
