<p>1. Process for the preparation, by papermaking techniques, of a material in sheet form comprising fibres, a non-binding inorganic filler, a conventional organic papermaking binder and a flocculant, intended to improve the retention of the inorganic filler in the sheet, the formation of the sheet and its physical properties, characterised in that a homogeneous bath comprising the inorganic filler and the organic binder in prepared and this, before being introduced into the fibre suspension, is destabilised by means of a cationic flocculant chosen from among aqueous solutions of polyethyleneimine, polyamideamide crosslinked polyalkylamide, modified polyacrylamides, aluminium polychloride and cationic starches, as well as aqueous solutions of quaternary ammonium compounds such as hydroxypropyltrimethylammonium chloride.</p> |
