PURPOSE:To carry out the treatment of a waste water efficiently by a method wherein a permeable membrane separation procedure and an oxidizing treatment procedure are combined and, at the same time with the permeable membrane treatment, the pressure of the high pressure concentrated liquid in said treatment is utilized availably. CONSTITUTION:In the permeable membrane treatment using the pressure in a driving power of the separation, the high pressure energy possesed in all or a part of the high pressure concentrated liquid exhausted from the treating procedure is utilized as a power source of a gas supply installation required in the oxidizing treatment to treat the waste water. That is, the waste water 1 containing easily oxidizable substances is supplied to an aeration apparatus A and, herein, contacted with an oxidizing gas 11 to be treated by oxidation. The treated liquid is sent to a permeation apparatus C through a precipitation apparatus F and the permeat liquid is exhausted out of a system as well as the residual liquid 7 of a membrane side is sent to a turbine T under high pressure to rotate the turbine T. Corresponding to the rotation, air is introduced from a draw pipe 9 of a blower B and introduced into the aeration apparatus A through an injection pipe. |
