PURPOSE:To obtain a color photographic sensitive material suitable for use as a thin layer type photosensitive material for instant photography, etc. and capable of efficiently preventing color fog without exerting unfavorable influence on the developability of silver halide by adding a specified colorless nondispersible substituted sulfonylhydroquinone. CONSTITUTION:To a silver halide emulsion layer, a middle layer, a layer contg. a dye image forming material or the like, preferably to the middle layer are added one or more kinds of nondispersible substituted sulfonylhydroquinones represented by formulae I, II, III (where each of X1-X3 is halogen, an aliphatic group, aryl, alkoxy, aryloxy, alkylthio or arylthio, X1 and X2 may bond to each other to form a condensed ring, R is an aliphatic group or aryl group not including a dye residue or its precursor and Z is H). Thus, a color phase change is prevented even in case of a color diffusion transfer method by which processing is carried out at a high pH value. |
