PURPOSE:To efficiently recover energy of hot waste water exhausted from a blast furnace by removing dust from the gas with dry dust removing devices and by driving an axial-flow turbine with the gas free from dust to generate electricity. CONSTITUTION:Dust in hot gas exhausted from a blast furnace 1 is removed with a plurality of secondary dust removing devices 11, 11', 11n arranged parallelly to a primary dust removing device. The volume of the gas is controlled to a constant value with sluice valves 12, 12', 12n, 13, 13', 13n attached to the inlets and outlets of the secondary dust removing devices, respectively. The hot gas free from dust is fed to an axial-flow turbine 6 at a constant rate, and a generator is driven to generate electricity. |
