PURPOSE:To decrease the amount of addition of components required for the addition of channels, by eliminating one system in a driver/receiver circuit, through the provision of a string switch controlling circuit in a magnetic disc controller adaptor. CONSTITUTION:An output from a magnetic disc controller 1 is given to a driver/ receiver circuit 5a and the output is given to a string switch controlling circuit 6a for channel A. In the basic system constitution, the circuit 6a is not operated and the output of the circuit 6a is given to a connection plug 2d for channel A signal line of a connection circuit 2a and the plug is used in common with a plug 2e at the basic system constitution. The output of the circuit 2a drives a magnetic disc unit 3 via a magnetic unit controlling circuit 2c. |
