PURPOSE:To obtain a system suitable for high density recording, with different directions of magnetization of adjacent recording tracks. CONSTITUTION:Parallel recording tracks 3, 4, 5, 6 ... are shown on a magnetic tape 1 and recordings with curved magnetization at the ridge are made as shown in 7, 8, 9 ... at sequential recording tracks. This can be executed with a magnetic head having gaps as 7, 8, 9 ... sequentially scanned to the arrow. In the recording like this, crosstalk can be avoided with a reproducing head slightly overridden to the adjacent recording track through the azimuth effect. |
